He completed his MBBS from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in 1990, followed by MS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in 1995. He further pursued advanced specialist training with FVS at Evangelical Krankenhaus, Düsseldorf University, Germany (2000), and FVES at the Jain Institute of Vascular Sciences in 2003.
